Creativity Exercise - Liquid Inspiration

1. For leaf tea drinkers: You've probably heard of reading tea-leaves…so make a cup of tea, making sure a few leaves are included, drink down to the last few sips, swirl around and turn upside down, after the cup empties take a look at the leaves - is there anything that sparks a creative piece for you - do they look like a book, a heart, a sword, a house, mouse tracks? Use something you might see as a basis of your next piece.

2. So you don't drink tea ;) Look in a puddle or snow or ice and see what's there, or pour a bit of water and drop in some food coloring, or a few specks of dirt from a plant (yes, I've been watering my large poinsettia in the white again…) Use the patter, or the chaos, or the color for your next piece of work.
