Creativity Exercise - Air

Last month we considered the concept of “earth” as a springboard into
creative exercises. This month it’s “air.”

Write down the first ten things that come to you when you think of air, for
instance: breath, atmosphere, wind, breeze, space, soaring, gliding, humid, dry, invisible.

Then create a piece of work using your words and/or the concepts behind
them.

OR

What does air mean to you? Freedom? Create a piece of work that holds the
essential meaning of air for you.

Are you an “air sign” in the zodiac? Gemini, Libra, Aquarius? Do you care? Perhaps you can gain inspiration from looking at your “sign” in a different light.

OR

Blow up a balloon and paint it!

Affirmation

Creativity is all around me, filling me as I inhale and breathe, and can be sparked by
something as little as a golden dust mote in the air. Inspiration will always be with me.
